PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Like the BG-Mosquitiare, the BG-Mosquitito features a patented combination of attractive visual signals, a specific air plume that mimics convection currents created by a human body and a patented mix of artificial skin emanations (BG-Sweetscent) that are released through a large surface area. The Biogents traps catch significally more tiger mosquitoes than other traps without carbon dioxide.

The trap is collapsible, has a pack size of 20 x 20 x 19 cm and can easily be taken along into regions with tiger mosquitoes.

The package includes everything you need to begin catching tiger mosquitoes: the BG-Mosquitito trap, complete with a 12 V power supply unit with 8-m cable, and a two-month supply of the BG-Sweetscent.

Tiger mosquitoes include the Asian Tiger Mosquito (Aedes albopictus) or the yellow fever or dengue mosquito (Aedea aegypti). These species are potential vectors of diseases such as chikungunya or dengue fever.

Placement

The placement of the mosquito trap is an important factor to ensure high catch rates.

Therefore, it is best to test different locations!

• Placement in shady, wind-protected moist places, near breeding sites of mosquitoes
