The patented Biogents Sweetscent has been proven to be the most effective attractant to capture tiger mosquitos. This mosquito trap uses both the Sweetscent lure that mimics the odor of the human body as well as CO2 that has been proven to be the most effective attractant. HOW IT WORKS?
The Biogents Mosquitaire uses both CO2 and Sweetscent to lure the mosquitos to the vicinity of the trap. Once close the high powered vortex full suck the mosquitos into a netting. The strong suction is designed in such a way that the scent and CO2 are free of the suction as cause a cloud to form over the trap.
Many scientific tests have been done on the effectiveness of mosquito traps. Biogents continues to come out on top when compared to other traps such as the Mosquito Magnet. Unlike a lot of other traps, Biogents does not use propane a flame to genterate CO2. Instead you simply contact a local Co2 refill centre/supplier to buy inexpensive CO2 beverage tanks (not included). The advantage of not having to burn propane is that the unit can be used in virtually any area including indoors.
There is not risk of fire damage and toxic fumes associated with burning propane.
