AERO has been installed and operated for testing its claims at Pandit Lawns in Pune. The site was selected because it has dense shrubs and trees all over the lawn as well as the Mutha River flowing in its backyard, which together make it a mosquito-prone area. Events like trade exhibitions and marriages are regularly held here. The result shows a large number of mosquitoes getting attracted to the system as if the system is a living human being. These blood-sucking preys and vectors are then sucked into the trap by the system and eventually killed. The quantum of dead mosquitoes is visible through the monitoring grid. After continuous use, the population of mosquitoes in the area is significantly reduced making a measurable difference.
