The system's operation can be divided into two modes:

1. Attract mode

Attraction occurs due to i) generation of hot carbon dioxide that simulates human respiration (we exhale carbon dioxide), ii) the rise in temperature of the body to 39 to 40 degree Fahrenheit (the temperature of a human malarial patient) since malarial mosquitoes are attracted more to a patient than a healthy person, iii) Use of organic attractant Octenol for imitating human body odour to attract different mosquito species (there are more than 2,500 species). The attractant is used especially by scientists in experiments requiring human body odor imitators.

All these factors attract blood sucking mosquitoes to the system as towards warm-blooded creatures.

2. Mode of destruction

Once the system has accumulated a sufficient number of mosquitoes around it, the fan sucks them into the trap. They are then passed through a grid and die under stress. The accumulation of dead mosquitoes can be seen through the monitoring grid which is a proof of the working and effectiveness of the Aero system work.

These two modes of operation of the system is repeated at intervals of 1 minute.

The working range of the equipment is 20-40 meters (up to 5000 sq mtrs area).
It all depends on the terrain and the area to be protected. For better results, Aero system need to install in shady area in deep woods or near water bodies where the mosquito eggs are.

Monitoring grid must be emptied regularly to prevent filling up of the grid by the accumulated dead insects since accumulation beyond its capacity will break the suction trap.

To do this, simply remove the foil and shake out the accumulated mosquitoes. Mosquitoes contain pure protein and are very tasty and healthy treat for fish, birds, frogs, etc.

Secondly, you need to monitor the carbon dioxide pressure inside the container for refilling of the gas. For best results, it is necessary to replace the Octenol cartridge after every month of use.
